Specialty Retailers, Inc. operates 660 retail clothing stores under four brand names in different geographic areas in the USA.
Objectives & Approach
The aim of the campaign was to retain customers after they moved to a new location, and ensure that they continued to shop with the Specialty Retailers family of stores after their move.
The target audience was 4,000 to 8,000 customers per month, all customers who had changed their address within the past month.
Campaign
Customers received full colour 6×11” personalised cards featuring a personalised map showing driving directions from the new address to the nearest store.
The card also featured a bar code to be scanned at the register and track redemption of a 25%-off offer on all first purchases.
Results
The campaign recorded coupon redemption rates as high as 42%.
There was repeat foot traffic in stores from new movers after the initial coupon redemption.
